Umbrella reloads and expands the cell signal

The telecommunications company Vodafone has presented a prototype umbrella that promises to recharge the smartphone or even amplify the signal frequency.

Developed in partnership with University College London, the Booster Brolly, and was baptized, is made of carbon fiber and has 12 solar cells pasted on top, providing the energy to recharge the battery via a bracket attached on the cable umbrella.

According to the creators, the umbrella can recharge the smartphone in just three hours using a USB port. There are also built-in antennas that allow you to extend the signal frequency.

The prototype will be presented to the public by Vodafone during the music festival Isle of Wight, England, from June 22.
