Acer Timeline Ultra M5 arrives in U.S. for $ 680


 

During the Computex exhibition Acer introduced its new line of Aspire Timeline Ultra ultrabooks M5. Among the new features, the compact include Nvidia Graphics Controller architecture Kepler and processors Ivy Bridge. Acer today announced that the new M5 come to the U.S. market at starting price of $ 680.

Available in late June, the machines M5 Aspire Timeline Ultra will be offered with screens of 14 or 15 inches, with 500 GB storage, 20 GB additional SSD drive and DVD. The screens have resolutions of 1,366 by 768 pixels.

The basic configuration will have an Intel (Sandy Bridge) 1.5 GHz, but the more advanced chips have 2.6 GHz (Ivy Bridge). The basic model of 14 inches is equipped with an SP 4000 HD Graphics, but the consumer can choose the version with the GeForce GT640M, which will cost $ 780.

Towards the end of June, Acer has also revealed the Aspire line S5, which will also be equipped with the new processors Ivy Bridge.
